Combined with adjustable straps, it keeps the legs in a stable and safe position, preventing hip dislocation. Size:20"x12"x6"x4"
  • Preventing dislocation: First few months after surgery, crossing legs or twisting legs to one side while sleeping or turning over may lead to hip dislocation, and once it occurs, secondary treatment is needed. Therefore, when turning over, be sure to clamp the Hip Abduction Pillow between your legs and secure it with safety straps to avoid dislocation. Helped to Ease my Back Pain at Bedtime

I have suffered from back pain for many years. Every time I go to bed, I tend to move my body to the sides causing more pain to my lower back and losing my sleep in the middle of the night. When I got the Bibahala Support Pillow I was impressed how well it worked for me.I went to bed and put this support pillow in between my legs without needing the straps and my body never moved, it just stayed in the same very comfortable position the whole night and finally helped me have a great night's sleep. The memory foam that is used in this pillow is very dense in a good way, as that is the purpose of this pillow to help give support to the areas your body need. The support pillow cover zipper is very easy to access. Removing the support pillow cover to wash and putting it back on was fairly easy. Why have I never heard or gotten a great product like Bibahala Support Pillow decades ago.Now I go to bed so happy without any worries and knowing I will have a great night's sleep and wake up feeling well rested.

Absolutely vital for total hip replacement.

These hip abduction pillows are VIRAL after hip replacement surgery. I am a side sleeper and tried to sleep on my back in preparation. Useless! With a large wedge and soft pillows at my back and the hip abductor between my legs is was able to sleep soundly.

    Must have after hip surgery.

This item is just as it was described and was perfect for my sister who just had hip surgery and kept accidentally crossing her legs in her sleep. It is made well and is holding up just fine after a few months of use. Very easy to attach with adjustable straps and she says it is much more comfortable than she thought it would be.We recommend this product.

    Unexpectedly helpful

I let my friend who was about to have knee surgery use this. You never knew how much you move around until you shouldn't. You also know how recovering people are in pain and therefore extra.... ummm, crunchy? It helped that this was easy to glide on, and stayed reasonably well. What's priceless was is making an inanimate object the bad guy, instead of constantly reminding them they have to stay still for awhile and stop exerting pressure. Luckily, it's a triangle, so it's a one size fits all.

    Comfortable

Comfortable and works to keep legs apart and not crossing for those who have had hip surgery. You have to lie on your back to use this properly. The only problem is that you need another person to wrap the straps and unwrap them for you if you have hip precautions from your doctor. I like this size because you don't need a really long pillow to do the job.

Great for hip replacement surgery recovery

This has helped my husband immensely for his hip replacement surgery! The straps are comfortable and the velcro is strong. He moves a lot in his sleep so we were worried about leg placement after surgery but this pillow helped keep everything in place! Very sturdy!

High Density Hip Abduction Pillow with Straps

High density foam and strapping as illustrated - if recommended by care giver this will perform well. You will need assistance to use the device. I did not detect any smells when I opened the package. I have also found the pillow useful for positioning during stretching and propping up my knees when laying on my back.
